Scholarship Description
The James "Rhio" O'Connor Memorial Scholarship Fund is only open to currently enrolled college/university students in the United States (High school students are ineligible). To qualify, you must write an essay about what you would do if you faced the same challenges that James "Rhio" O'Connor faced. For example, what steps would you take if you were given a dire cancer prognosis? How would you conduct your research and make an informed decision when choosing a treatment? Would you look beyond chemo, radiation and surgery if they had little to offer? What resources would you use to make an informed decision?
